We were appointed to estimate the insulation performance of the partitions installed in the offices and to provide solutions to reduce leakage of airborne sound. We worked along with M/s CPEC (Center Point Engineering Consultancy) for their project at Said Al Shahry Law Offices (SASLO) building.

Tests were carried out as per ISO standards to estimate the apparent sound reduction index (R’) (and average Standardized level difference) for each typical partition along with reverberation tests and background noise tests. This also included checking the Airborne sound insulation between the floors as well. Approximately 25 rooms were tested and a detailed report was submitted showing the results obtained along with recommendations to improve the insulation where necessary.
